British chain Square Pie has launched its new Canapies at the lunch! show 2013.
Held in London’s Business Design Centre, Islington, the brand showed its “three-bite pies” to traders.
According to Square Pie, “The new range launches alongside the brand’s new look, which reflects its own ethos, a modern take on classic British comfort food.”
The new Canapies form part of the company’s new pick ‘n’ mix style menu, allowing customers to select a variety of pies for lunch. Costing £1.50 each, they also compliment the lighter options available for purchase, such as British salads and Square Pie 50% less fat ‘Naked’ pies, alongside their classic pies and fresh mash.
Square Pie, founded in 2001 by Martin Dewey, currently operates four shops at Old Spitalfields Market, Westfield London, Bluewater and, most recently, Westfield Stratford.
In July, British Baker reported the brand’s decision to potentially open 20 new outlets across various locations over the next four years.
Lunch!, the UK’s only dedicated trade event for the food-to-go industry, featured 290 exhibiting companies on three levels on 26-27 September.
