Bakery employers have revealed what they are looking for in graduates, and one word constantly pops up – enthusiasm.
British Baker visited a National Bakery School open day at London South Bank University at the end of November to find out more. The day was attended by students at all stages in their degrees as well as recent graduates and employers.
Among them were Harrods and Biscuiteers, ingredients suppliers British Bakels, Zeelandia and AB Mauri, as well as Kerry Foods and charity The Kids’ Cookery School.
