Artisan bakery Muffin Break has announced the latest addition to flavours in its range: a Halloween-themed Chai-Spiced Pumpkin muffin.
The pumpkin muffin features a chai-infused cream cheese-filled centre and will be available in stores until 14 November – priced at £2.40.
The Muffin Lab concept launched in the UK in January 2016 and sees an experimental muffin flavour unveiled every month for customers to experience.
Each Muffin Lab creation is made using the finest, premium ingredients and is freshly baked in-store every day by bakers.
Previous bold flavour combinations included the Duffin (a muffin and a doughnut hybrid) and The Peanut Butter, Banana and Caramel muffin.
Muffin Break’s marketing manager Gemma Sandells commented: “Our Muffin Lab creations offer something different to what is already available on the high street and the innovative flavours have definitely proved popular with our customers.
“Consumers today are always searching for something exciting and out-of-the-ordinary to try, and our Muffin Lab series provides just that.”
In August, Muffin Break announced that it would support the NHS’ introduction of a 20% sugar tax in hospitals by 2020.
