Applied Weighing (Reading), supplier of industrial weighing systems, has recently introduced a high-speed check weigher. The machine is powered by a 920i process controller and can be combined with lead on/lead off conveyors, barcoders and metal detection equipment.

It can also be linked to filling machines and used for classification and sorting. With a maximum capacity of 200ppm, the check weigher is designed to operate within very wide weight ranges. Packs outside pre-set minimum and maximum tolerances are automatically rejected, and if linked to a filling mechanism, the check weigher automatically adjusts the filling heads.
