National Farmers’ Union president Meurig Raymond will be among the keynote speakers at the annual event for the UK agrisupply industry, Agribusiness 2018.
Taking place at the East of England Showground on 8 November 2017, the event takes the theme of ‘Taking a Lead in Agri-Food Policy post-Brexit’. Raymond will present his views to attendees that agriculture has the most to gain or lose from Brexit negotiations.
“Once again, this year’s Agribusiness is the most important conference that is dedicated to the agrisupply and allied industries,” said John Kelley, chief operating officer for Agribusiness 2018.
Food and Drink Federation director Ian Wright will also be speaking at the event – discussing the importance of UK food manufacturing and production at a UK and EU level.
Raymond recently wrote an open letter to new Defra chief Michael Gove outlining that farmers need certainly that the Government will make Brexit a success for British food and farming.
