Global bakery business Aryzta Food Solutions has launched a selection of pick-and-mix bread rolls and loaves.
The Hiestand-branded range of 80g rolls, packed in outers of 48, comprise crusty tiger rolls, square white rolls and square brown rolls topped with oat flakes.
The rolls, priced at £0.39 or four for £1.00, can be sold individually or as a pick-and-mix option, and take just four minutes to bake.
The bakery business will also introduce three 450g loaves that the company said would “boost its in-store bakery offer”.
The loaves include a traditional farmhouse tin loaf and a Mediterranean-styled tin loaf, each priced at £1.50. The other NPD is a crown-shaped date, cranberry and linseed star loaf, priced at £1.70.
“The new range draws on traditional artisan baking skills to deliver the freshest possible in-store bakery experience for shoppers,” said Vincent Brook, UK retail commercial manager at Aryzta Food Solutions.
“This delicious new bread range will enable stockists to offer a top-quality selection of freshly-baked rolls and loaves, with the extra flexibility of being able to sell the rolls individually or as a pick-and-mix option.”
In March 2017, Aryzta announced that its revenue had fallen by £1.6bn for the six-month period ending 31 January 2017.
