Booths unwraps bakery range for Christmas 2024

Showstopping desserts, playful family favourites, and pies galore are among the sweet and savoury selection unveiled by Booths for Christmas 2024.

Warming and comforting flavours are in abundance with caramel, chocolate, and coffee appearing in across the dessert range while cheese is prominent on the savoury side.

Caramel Drip Cake

This showstopper centrepiece (pictured above) has three layers of caramel sponge sandwiched with caramel buttercream, and topped with a millionaire caramel sauce which drips down the side, chocolate truffle balls, and edible snowflakes.

Bacon, Leek & Cheddar Quiche

This sharing-sized quiche, made by Beckleberry’s, combines Beechwood smoked streaky bacon and sauteed mild sweet leek with extra mature Cheddar, all surrounded by a rich cream and free-range egg filling set in a crisp handcrafted butter shortcrust pastry.

Mincemeat & Apple Crumble

Mince pies meet crumble in this mash-up which sees a Bramley apple compôte and fruity mincemeat topped with a golden flaked almond crumble.

Chicken Shawarma Mini Flatbreads Kit

Booths is making party food even easier with its chicken shawarma kit which includes mini flatbreads and shredded British chicken with peppers marinated in Middle Eastern inspired spices. There is also a Butter Chicken Mini Naan Breads Kit available which features minced chicken in a rich curry sauce.

Christmas Selection Box

This isn’t an average Christmas selection box. Made by Cakehead, it has three types of crowd-pleasing treats, with six of each in the box. It includes a Chocolate Orange Brownie topped with slices of chocolate orange and Caramel Shortbread with swirled chocolate decoration on top. Rounding off the options is the Praline Crunch which has an all-butter caramel sandwiched between two layers of Belgian Chocolate coated crispies and shortcake pieces, mixed with roasted hazelnuts.

Tear & Share Cheee Christmas Tree

While the craze for making pastry-shaped delights continues to reel in views on social media, Booths has done the hard work for shoppers (and served up a savoury version). The tree is made from handmade three cheese & rosemary puff pastry filled with Italian hard cheese, red Leicester, and cream cheese with a garlic aioli dipping sauce.

Tiramisu Bowl

Tiramisu meets the classic trifle format. This dessert has layers of Italian Savoiardi biscuits soaked in coffee and brandy syrup with rich Italian mascarpone and British cream on top, finished with a dusting of cocoa powder and milk chocolate shards.

Festive Coffee Renoir

Made by Lathams, this dessert sees choux pastry filled with Lathams special crème pat and freshly whipped cream, all topped with coffee icing.

Vegetarian Pie Box

This vegetarian pie box is made by The Great North Pie Co and features four cheese-laden pies in two flavours – a Dewlay Tasty Lancashire cheese & caramelised onion variant topped with breadcrumbs and spinach & Cheshire cheese pies topped with sesame seeds.

Caramelised Biscuit Christmas Cheesecake

Cheesecake specialist Gorgeous Cheesecakes is serving up this caramelised biscuit treat as part of the Booths Christmas range. It has a crumbly caramelised biscuit base topped with a cheesecake mix, complete with honeycomb pieces for texture. It is decorated with swirls of caramelised biscuit spread and biscuits decorated to look like little Christmas puddings.

Snowman Cupcakes

These soft vanilla cupcakes are made by Bryson’s which has filled them with raspberry jam and topped them with a happy festive snowman design. A sharing-sized celebration cake is also available with the same design.

Raspberry & Vanilla Panna Cotta Bauble

This striking dessert comprises a smooth Madagascan vanilla panna cotta sitting on strawberry jelly with fresh raspberries and a raspberry sauce for drizzling on top.

Crafted by the team at Fiona Cairns, this seven-inch Christmas cake has been handmade and covered in icing before being delicately decorated with a mistletoe motif.

Booths is adding a fruity twist to the yule log. Its version sees a Swiss white chocolate and passionfruit filled sponge roll topped with Swiss white chocolate buttercream and decoration.
