Costa has unveiled a raft of new bakery items for spring 2024, including a KitKat muffin, Mini Egg Cookie, and Chicken ’Nduja Toastie.
The coffee chain has also unveiled two breakfast deals which allow customers who order before 11am to get a selected drink (such as a small or medium latte, mocha, or hot chocolate) and breakfast bap from £6.49, or a drink and croissant or toast for £4.99.
It has taken inspiration from the bakery aisles for its latest flavoured syrup – cinnamon bun – as well as rolling out a range of KitKat-inspired drinks including a frappe, hot chocolate, and mocha.
Here’s a closer look at the new items available at Costa’s estate nationwide:
Chicken N’Duja Toastie
Featuring roast chicken and ’Nduja, with roasted peppers, béchamel and tomato & oregano sauce, this toastie is finished with mozzarella and mature cheddar, on multi-seed bread.
Halloumi & Chargrilled Veg Toastie
Also joining the toastie line-up is this vegetarian option which, as the name suggests, is filled with halloumi and chargrilled vegetables as well as chilli relish and fresh spinach on multi-seed bread.
Roast Chicken & Bacon Sandwich
A Roast Chicken & Bacon Sandwich is also being added to the Costa lunchtime options. It sees malted bread filled with roast British chicken, beechwood smoked bacon, and chicken gravy mayonnaise.
Blooming Lovely Chocolate Cake
This spring-themed treat features layers of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, all finished with white chocolate flowers and edible sprinkles.
Carrot & Walnut Cake
Nothing says spring quite like carrot cake, according to Costa, which has unveiled a new and improved recipe for its iteration. The layer cake is topped and filled with soft cream cheese butter icing and decorated with smooth walnut nibs.
Chocolate Muffin made with KitKat Bunny
Following in the footsteps of Costa’s collaboration with Rolo, Toblerone, and Terry’s Chocolate Orange, this chocolate muffin is filled with KitKat flavoured paste and topped with frosting and a KitKat Bunny Mini.
Mini Egg Cookie
Costa is serving up further Easter-themed goodies in the form of a Mini Egg Cookie as well as the fan favourite Chocolate Cornflake Nest with candy covered chocolate eggs nestled inside.
