GALLERY: Greggs launches limited-edition range

Greggs has added seven new limited-edition products to its line-up.

Available until 22 May, the range features two new additions to its Balanced Choice portfolio: Mexican Chipotle Chilli Wrap and a Spicy Calzone Bake at £2.60 and £1.30 respectively.

The Mexican Chipotle Chilli Wrap contains 337 calories and is topped with sliced mixed peppers, salad leaves and fajita flavour mayonnaise, while the Spicy Calzone Bake has 289 calories and contains a mix of chicken breast, ham, pork and beef meatballs, pepperoni and spiced pork with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

The other savoury additions are a Pork Bacon and Cheddar Lattice at £1.50 and Nacho Chilli Cheese Roll at £1.00.

The Pork, Bacon and Cheddar Lattice includes pulled pork with bacon, mature Cheddar cheese, and a savoury sauce. The Nacho Chilli Cheese Roll is a combination of sweet potato, roasted vegetables, mixed beans, quinoa and jalapeños in a nacho cheese-styled sauce.

The March range will also feature three sweet treats: a Salted Caramel Cookie at 80p, Lemon Sherbet Ring Doughnut at 75p and Caramel Cookie Doughnut at £1.

The cookie is made with Belgian white and milk chocolate chunks and salted caramel flavoured pieces. The lemon doughnut is topped with sherbet-flavoured icing, while the Caramel Cookie Doughnut has a sweet biscuit-flavoured filling and is topped with caramel-flavoured fondant and spiced biscuit crumbs.

Greggs has stated that the range is “bound to put a spring in your step”.
