London-based Brigit Bakery has teamed up with toy company Hasbro to launch a Peppa Pig-themed afternoon tea on a bus.
The Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea menu includes Freddy Fox’s egg and cress sandwich, Emily Elephant’s mini Margherita pizza, Rebecca Rabbit’s carrot cupcake and George’s seasonal fruit tart. Treats are available in vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free and pescatarian options.
The 1.5-hour tour will take place on board Brigit Bakery’s signature 1960’s Routemaster bus. Stops will feature The House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, The Shard, Tower Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral.
Guests can view a Peppa Pig narrated guided tour video hosted by characters from the show via tablets on each table. It also features clips from the popular episode ‘London’ and sing-a-long songs. Peppa Pig-themed activity books and branded cups are available for each guest to take home.
The Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tour runs weekly from Thursday to Sunday at 12.15pm and 2.45pm from Sommerset House/Embankment.
Running at reduced capacity, the bus tours will comply with social distancing guidelines and safety precautions, including hand sanitiser on board and staff wearing masks.
Brigit’s Bakery is a bus tour agency offering French-inspired afternoon teas on board in London.
