Britain’s biggest crisp brand Walkers has rolled out its new Crinkles packaging, which will be available in major retailers from next month.
The new six-pack format, which will be priced at £1, will feature a larger Walkers logo, alongside an updated Crinkles logo.
Thomas Barkholt, Walkers marketing director, said that the company was looking forward to seeing these new packs on-shelf.
“The new packaging retains Crinkles’ key brand values with a more contemporary design, which will give it greater stand-out on-shelf,” he said.
“Crinkles is already an incredibly popular brand and we felt the time was right to refresh the packaging, ensuring that it respects the brand’s value proposition in the Walkers’ portfolio. We’re confident that, with an already strong consumer resonance and brand love, the new-look packaging will be a hit with shoppers.”
This month, Walkers increased prices of its products by 5p as a result of the pound weakening.
