Bakery ingredients firm, Sonneveld has appointed Peter Verhagen as chief executive, taking over the position from Cees Hack who resigned earlier this year.
The company said that Verhagen will continue to carry out the current business strategy under his leadership, keeping the same vision and values.
He has been at the firm over 17-years, and was appointed business development director in 2007.
Former chief executive, Cees Hack resigned in September to take up the position of managing director with bakery ingredients company AB Mauri for the Middle East/ Africa region.
Sonneveld has been an independent part of Orkla Food Ingredients (OFI) since 2010, a merge overseen by Hack.
When his resignation was announced, the company said it hoped to expand under a new chief executive.
