A bread-themed charity event in support of Action Against Hunger is being organised by London artisan bakery the Bread Factory and executive chef at Duck and Waffle Daniel Doherty.
Eat Bake Love challenges top chefs to create bakery-themed dishes, which will be voted on by guests at the event in Mayfair on 8 November. The winning chef will develop a bespoke bread to be sold by the Bread Factory, with all profits donated to Action Against Hunger.
Alongside the main event, additional funds will be raised by an auction and raffle featuring some ‘money-can’t-buy’ prizes and there will be live music and a champagne reception.
Dean Arbel, managing director at the Bread Factory, said: “We have been inspired by the work of the team at Action Against Hunger and are thrilled to have bakery at the core of this event where we can make a difference and help support this hugely important cause.”
Tickets to the event are available from the Action Against Hunger website.
