Rickmansworth bakery and café Cinnamon Square is to publish its first book, Cinnamon Square, A Measured Approach.

The book will be released in October and contains baking recipes, ideas and techniques, as well as tips and answers to frequently asked questions.

The Hertfordshire bakery, which is famous for its award-winning Cinnamon Square Bun, serves a range of patisserie, cakes, artisan breads and handmade chocolate, and also teaches baking techniques to both adults and children in its ‘makery’.

The book is attributed to Cinnamon Square’s founder Paul Barker, a baker with 30 years of experience behind him. Barker has also advised on television’s The Great British Bake Off (for which he created the technical bake section), appeared on BBC radio, The BBC Good Food Show and ITV’s Britain’s Best Bakery.

Cinnamon Square, A Measured Approach is priced at £16.99 and will be available in bookshops and online through Amazon.
