Lorraine Hendle, divisional managing director at William Reed publishing house is to join the board of GroceryAid trustees.

At William Reed Hendle has responsibility for a portfolio of seven brands, including British Baker. She has been with the company more than 17 years and has led the evolution and development of the retail and manufacturing brands to deliver multi-channel information provision through print, online, mobile and events.

Hendle has worked across a number of B2B markets including manufacturing, chemicals and engineering.

She said: “Having worked with GroceryAid for a number of years, I am delighted to be joining the trustees and I look forward to contributing to the continued evolution of the charity.”

Hendle will have overall responsibility for the governance of the charity, and will bring her particular skills to help shape future strategy, as well as the way the charity operates on a day-to-day basis.
