Bath Bakery has employed a new area manager to run the bakery’s Moorland Road café and all its Keynsham operations.
Rod Bond, who previously ran the firm’s Chelsea Road and Kindling Cafés in Bath, will now also organise catering contracts for the bakery.
Bond said: “This is a very exciting time to be joining the business and I’m looking forward to meeting my new colleagues and customers.”
Mark Slevin, managing director, said: “Not only is Rod a well-respected figure in the area, he is also highly-experienced within the food and drink sector and his appointment injects great strength into our already formidable team.”
In 2014, Bath Bakery opened four new outlets as well as launching Batch#5, its own range of gluten-free food. It also won the contract to run two food and drink concessions in the new Keynsham Civic Centre in Bristol.
