Independent company Aqua Botanica, has signed a deal with regional distributor JD’s Food Group to enable it to sell its products outside its current London location.

The new functional water brand has previously been selling its wellness drinks in a number of cafés in the capital city, mainly initial ’trial’ outlets, but the new deal will see its reach potentially extend to another 1,000 outlets.

The drinks are initially being offered in two flavours - Apple & Elderflower and Cranberry & Raspberry - though the company has plans to expand the range soon.

Containing a mixture of herbal extracts, including Siberian Ginseng and Guarana, and six kinds of vitamins, the drinks also contain no artificial ingredients and are low calorie. "Aqua Botanica is a premium product that harnesses the unique benefits of potent botanical extracts - which have been relied on for centuries as having revitalising properties - and blends them with vitamins that are essential to everyone’s diet," said Ed Biden, managing director of the company.

"It has been launched with the mission to provide wellness-conscious people with a choice of beverage that refreshes, restores and revives - in a healthy format."

The drinks come in 500ml bottles, and have a shelf-life of three to six months.

RRP: £1.95
