British Sugar Group has appointed Gino De Jaegher as MD for the UK and Ireland. He will take up the role in September.
De Jaegher will report directly to group CEO Mark Carr, who previously headed up the UK business and will now also focus on expanding European operations,
"I am delighted to be taking up this exciting role," said De Jaegher. "I am looking forward to helping to drive the company’s strategic growth through continued innovation and improvement of our service standards."
De Jaegher was previously MD of Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) paper products in the UK and Ireland. Prior to this, he established P&G’s beauty-care business in Turkey.
