Europain, the major French bakery show, will take place at Parc des Expositions just outside Paris on March 6-10. The show, easily accessible by train from Paris or nearby airport Charles de Gaulle, features an innovations area and four halls dedicated to different subjects.
The largest, Hall 3, is given over to craft bakery, where French pride in breadmaking will be very apparent. The other three halls will showcase chocolate, ice cream, a large bakery ’shop’, the innovations area and schools ’street’ with students competing against each other. Hall 4, aimed at the industrial bakery sector, will major on machinery and plant production.
Over 85,000 visitors from 133 countries are expected to attend.
