London based vegan bakery Ms Cupcake has partnered with Whole Foods Market stores from 20 April to offer its goods to a wider audience.
Eight flavours will be available including four exclusive to Whole Foods Market. They include blackberry cheesecake; carrot and pineapple; and banana chocolate chip.
Mellissa Morgan, Ms Cupcake director, said: “We are on a big mission to bring decadent vegan cakes to the masses. There is no doubt a launch at Whole Foods will ensure amazing free-from products will get to a wider customer base.
Ben Woodgate of Whole Foods said: “Whole Foods Market has a reputation for being the home of delicious vegan and free-from products, we see demand growing year on year for suitable treats. We are delighted to have found a new artisan producer that shares our values, meets our high quality standards and who can offer can offer a range of delicious products.”
Ms Cupcake is London’s first entirely vegan bakery supplying to consumers, wholesale and corporate clients. The company’s range includes cupcakes, layer cakes, cookies, muffins and milkshakes as well as savoury snacks.
Ms Cupcake won British Baker’s 2011 Rising Star Award at the Baking Industry Awards.
