Warburtons has launched a dedicated trade website for the convenience store market.
The bread manufacturer said the new online portable, launched at the National Convenience Show on 14-16 April, will help retailers have more control and flexibility over orders, in addition to accessing information on Warburtons’ product range from www.warburtons-trade.co.uk.
Jason Uttley, sales director at Warburtons, said: “The new portal is a direct reflection of our commitment to help retailers make their most of their bakery category while making their lives much easier. Combining this tool with essential information and guidance on the category means that retailers can access everything they need to grow their bakery sales, at any time.”
Other features of the new website include the ability to place or amend 24- and 48-hour standing orders, information on point-of-sale and an invoicing system.
Julian Taylor-Green of Londis in Lindford, Hampshire, said: “We can also access information on each product in the Warburtons range including pack, bar code, size and, most importantly, the RRP, which is extremely helpful for EPOS retailers like me.”
