Irish coffee shop chain Insomnia has added more lines to its Food for Life range.

This comes as it will make its début in the UK, by opening concessions in Debenhams by the end of this year.

It offers a meal deal of a sandwich wedge, wrap, flatbread or thin with any hot beverage for just €5.95 or consumers can enjoy a ciabatta, focaccia, baguette, toast or salad with a hot beverage for €6.95.

The additions to the range include five new wraps, three new salad dishes and two snack-sized protein pots.

The wraps on offer include goat’s cheese, cranberry and mango chutney; free-range eggs florentine on a spinach wrap; and tandoori chicken and minted yogurt on spinach wrap.

The salad dishes include a teriyaki chicken salad with rice noodles and supergreens while the protein pots are falafel, couscous, beetroot, hummus and feta; and crayfish and egg.

Insomnia has also just opened in Irish bloodstock auctioneers Tattersalls.
