French bakery Brioche Pasquier has added five new products to its range in Sainsbury’s, which takes the company’s listing with the supermarket up to nine.
The new products are a mixture of traditional and snacking items. They are Doh to Go (filled brioche doughnuts), Pain au Chocolat Crème patisserie, individually-wrapped Pain au Chocolat, Brioche Pasquier Chocolate Chip brioche rolls and children’s snack version, Pitch Chocolate Chip.
All these products are available now, with distribution in around 300 stores. They are all free from preservatives and artificial colours.
Ludovic Moulard, sales manager, said: “Completing the range in Sainsbury’s is a great step in the right direction. The morning goods market continues to grow and the new listings highlight the important role that brands play in the continued growth of the category.
“Having our new production site in the UK shows our ambition to continue to grow the UK market for pre-packed Viennoiserie products”
Brioche Pasquier UK is part of the international Brioche Pasquier group, and is the largest supplier of branded brioche products in the UK.
Brioche Pasquier opened its first UK factory in March 2015 and the site now produces milk brioche rolls (pains au lait) to service the UK market, with more lines planned to increase the capacity for production. The company launched its first range of macarons last month.
