Marks & Spencer has launched its new Spirit of Summer food range, which includes new biscuits, and pastry products.
Officially launched on 27 April, the new range has been gradually rolled out in M&S stores over the month of April.
The range features 300 products inspired by the food of the Americas, and includes the company’s new ‘pie dogs’, aimed at the picnic market. Pie dogs are pork encased in hot water crust pastry, with a dash of either mustard or BBQ sauce.
Also in the range is a new selection of desserts and biscuits, including Mexican Chipotle Chili & Ecuadorian Dark Chocolate Cookies; Brazil Nut, Chilli & Coconut Florentines; and Dulce de Leche & Honeycomb Cheesecake.
M&S said: “This summer M&S is celebrating the best of the Americas with the launch of 300 delicious new food and drink products. The food team have scoured the bars, restaurants and street food stalls of South and Central America, as well as the southern states of the USA, to deliver the most exciting range of summer foods yet.”
