Equipment supplier Euro Catering has broadened its equipment portfolio with an entry-level pizza oven described as suitable for start-up businesses.

The EK4 and EK44 single- and double-deck electric pizza ovens have been introduced to the UK in partnership with Italian manufacturer Italforni.

The EK4 can cook four 13-inch pizzas at once, while the two-deck E44 has double this capacity.

The compact ovens come with an aluminium-coated, steel-plate cooking chamber, electric heating elements and halogen lamps. Additionally, they have a refractory baking floor and separate thermostatic controls for the base of the oven and its ceiling.

Euro Catering said the ovens were high-quality and affordable for those considering or recently entering the pizza market.

“We recognised the need for those entering the pizza sector, or offering pizza as a new menu choice, to have an entry-level oven at a keen price, but to also have the peace of mind of knowing that spare parts and service will always be available in the years ahead,” said Euro Catering’s sales director Justin Towns.

“The ovens already come with two years’ parts and one year’s labour protection. Thereafter, the purchaser can rest assured that Italforni will be around to offer any support required. This distinguishes these entry-level ovens from many others in the market.”
