Germany-based biscuits and cakes manufacturer Bahlsen has added a “convenient” smaller grab-and go size format to its Pick Up! biscuit range.
Pick Up! Minis, a bagged range of chocolate sandwiched-filled biscuits, are individually wrapped making them suitable for after school snacks or to eat at your desk, a brand spokeswoman told British Baker.
Available in Milk Chocolate and Choco & Milk variants (RSP £1.29/10) the 10.6g bars join the existing larger 28g variant, which is sold in packs of five.
“Our Pick Up! brand has grown impressively in a short space of time since launching in 2014,” said Jonathan Duffin, Bahlsen general manager. “This year alone, more than 79,000 households bought Pick Up! and our new Pick Up! Minis launch is set to increase this figure. We are excited to introduce this new SKU [stock keeping unit] into the family biscuits segment, and to provide an offering for both parents and kids that is convenient, delicious and at a price point that meets their needs.”
The biscuits, which launched in Waitrose this week, are also available from Tesco.
