Northern Irish bakery Graham’s has won a listing to supply a number of its baked goods to AmazonFresh.
The Dromore-based bakery’s recently launched Little Luxuries cake tubs in Chocolate Brownie, Coconut, Crispy Caramel and Millionaire Bites are available now alongside its Irish Oat Cookies and Traditional Irish Shortbread and Victoria Sponge.
AmazonFresh first began rolling out fresh food deliveries to a selection of London postcodes in June.
Last month it added 59 additional London postcodes to its existing delivery area, taking the total up to 128.
“Winning a listing from AmazonFresh is a marvellous boost for us because it will strengthen our position in the important Greater London marketplace particularly for our new range of cake tubs, a very different format from our existing and successful range of mini bite cake and biscuit products,” said sales and marketing manager Tim Graham.
“We’ll be working closely with the marketing team at AmazonFresh on promotional initiatives to support what is an immensely important deal for us in a key target market for us,” he added.
Graham’s, which also supplies products to Ocado, Booker Retail, The Co-op and Partridges, as well as retailers in the US, the Republic of Ireland and the United Arab Emirates, first began producing a range of freshly baked breads, cakes and buns in 1956.
The company now employs 40 people and has a portfolio of 20 different products.
