Caffè Nero has launched its first ‘hot food’ menu with a range of Italian-inspired dishes.
The range includes flatbreads topped with chargrilled vegetables or mozzarella, baked pasta dishes and layered pots of risotto or vegetable arrabbiata, which can be eaten in-store or taken away.
To complement the launch, Caffè Nero has released research to encourage Britons to reclaim their lunch hours.
It found 9.5% of Britons do not take a lunch break and 15% eat at their desks. This was contrasted by statistics which suggested 37.9% felt re-energised and 16% more motivated after a lunch break.
