The Co-operative Food has relaunched its in-store bakery range with a new look and products.
The first of the new products are available in stores now and include double chocolate chip and blueberry muffins, with more to follow later in April.
A number of the retailer’s bakery products have also been redeveloped, in keeping with The Co-operative’s aim to create a more rustic look and feel for the range.
The packaging has also been changed, with new boxes available to protect its sweet pies for customers buying them to take home.
Following successful sales of its own-brand cookies last year, new varieties, such as The Co-operative Truly Irresistible Belgian Milk Chocolate Cookies, will be added to its 2,300 in-store bakeries, from 24 April.
Other products to hit the shelves later this month include a family-size gooseberry pie, iced ring doughnuts, a poppy seed baguette, and white and brown Scotch rolls.
