Unilever has expanded its partnership with Dorset-based Thomas J Fudge’s Remarkable Bakery to produce an on-the-go Marmite snack.
Marmite Savoury Biscuits are made of enriched oats with “a hearty hit” of Marmite on top. The traditional Marmite jar-shaped snacks come in individually-wrapped packs of four – there are five packs in each unit. They are available now, retailing for £2 a pack.
This is not the first collaboration between Marmite and Fudge’s – the two companies produced Marmite Flatbreads, which were relaunched in 2013.
Chloe Irwin, senior licensing manager at Unilever, said the new biscuits would “appeal to fans of the spread looking to get a fix on the go, with an easily transportable format and a fantastic bold flavour.
“The biscuits are perfect as an easy on-the-go treat or as a delicious snack.”
Earlier this month Fudge’s expanded its savoury selection with the launch of new Mini Wafers and Crackers & Crispbreads.
