Artisan baker and café chain Patisserie Valerie is trialling a sandwich delivery service in Leeds.
Launching on 2 December, the company said the new delivery service will benefit office workers or groups of workers.
Nine more delivery sites are planned, including central London, Sheffield, Edinburgh and London.
In a statement, Patisserie Valerie said: “Workers can place an order in their own time, and Patisserie Valerie will deliver either breakfast items between 8am and 10:30am, or lunch between 11:30am and 2:30pm.
Breakfast items include: plain croissant (£1.15); almond croissant (£1.55); chocolate croissant (£1.55); pain au raisin (£1.50) ; apple Danish (£1.50); cheddar cheese & tomato croissant (£3.25) and mushroom & Béchamel Gruyère cheese croissant (£3.25).
Sandwiches include smoked salmon bagel (£3.45); goat’s cheese baguette (£3.15); BLT ciabatta (£3.15) and Parma ham ciabatta (£3.15).
A “made for you” option (RRP £3.15) is also available, allowing customers to select any bread, filling, choices of salad, cheese and seasonings.
Customers are able to receive a 30% discount when making their first order online.
