The Primrose Bakery is to release a third book, Celebrations, this month.
Available from 10 October, Primrose Bakery Celebrations, RRP £20, provides recipes to suit eight themed events for different ages.
It is being published by Square Peg, part of The Random House Group.
Written by Primrose Bakery’s founders Lisa Thomas and Martha Swift, the themed parties include: “young girl’s birthday party at Primrose Bakery”, “young boy’s cartoon-themed birthday at American diner”, “teenager’s day of the dead birthday at Crazy Homies”, “Moroccan baby shower at Rococo garden”, “Japanese afternoon tea at Japanese studio”, “cupcakes and cocktails at Sipsmith brewery”, “festive party at Georgian terrace” and “summer picnic at Primrose Hill garden”.
Speaking to British Baker in May last year, Swift said: “The book caters for the whole set-up of an event, and offers something a bit more than your traditional bakery book. We already have two books that are very comprehensive in what we do as a brand and business, so the third book will widen out the offering.”
Founded in 2004 by Thomas and Swift in Primrose Hill, London, the business consists of two bakeries in Primrose Hill and Covent Garden.
Previous books from the bakery include Cupcakes From The Primrose Bakery (RRP £14.99) and The Primrose Bakery Book (RRP £20).
