Malt loaf maker Soreen has unveiled its latest new product as part of its range expansion with the introduction of the toasting format, Toast Me’s.
The product, which is priced at £1.30, is available in packs of four and will be available to purchase from major retailers, including Asda and Morrisons, but will launch in Tesco and Waitrose at the beginning of October.
Toast Me’s are designed for a hot breakfast or brunch snack alternative to products such as crumpets and teacakes.
Beth Brown, marketing director at Soreen, said: “Toast Me’s are a new toasting format for Soreen and mean that consumers can now enjoy the unique fruity, malty taste and texture of Soreen warm.
“Soreen has continued to invest in convenience formats, with its NPD having a track record of adding value to the category. Lunchbox Loaves, for example, have shown incremental growth, with sales rising by 62%.” (Source: Kantar Worldpanel, 12 w/e March 2016.)
Earlier this month, MumPanel said 95% of its members would recommend the Soreen Lunchbox loaves to other parents.
