Experts from Campden BRI, Greggs, and Natasha’s Foundation discuss the importance of allergen management, offer examples of best practice, and discuss potential changes in the future

Natasha’s Law – officially named the UK Food Information Amendment 2019 – came into force two years ago but a recent report by the Food Standards Agency found that only seven out of 10 businesses feel they have the information they needed to follow it.

In this free-to-air webinar, British Baker editor Amy North puts questions to experts from Campden BRI, Greggs, and Natasha’s Foundation to find out where the current gaps in knowledge are and what the baking industry can do to fill them. The webinar also explores the importance of allergen management across the supply chain from manufacturers through to consumer-facing businesses, while providing examples of best practice and top tips for engaging staff across business operations.

The experts offering advice are:

  • Emma Adams, head of technical at Greggs
  • Helen Arrowsmith, regulatory affairs manager and allergens specialist at Campden BRI
  • Nadim Ednan-Laperouse OBE, co-founder and trustee at the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation
