Apostrõphe, the bakery café group, is missing a managing director after Richard Franks stepped down.

Franks was appointed last July after catering company CH&Co acquired the brand. He left the company in mid-June and a replacement is yet to be appointed.

CH&Co told M&C Report that Deborah Homshaw, operations director at Host Contract Management (HCM), which merged with CH&Co in June, is now leading the day-to-day running of the business along with business owner Tim Jones.

Franks, who had previously worked at Harris + Hoole and Eat, had been taken on to lead the growth of Apostrõphe.

Stuart Lawson stepped down as chief executive of CH&Co when it merged with HCM Group in June to become CH&Co Group.

HCM’s chief executive Bill Toner is now group chief executive with CH&Co’s founders Robyn (founder) and Tim (chairman) Jones.
