Thousands of Poles living in Northern Ireland can now get a taste of home after Dublin-based Brennans launched a traditional Polish bread called ’chleb polski’.

Brennans claims to be the first bakery in the region to offer customers the bread, which will be baked under the careful guidance of Polish bakers.

Colin Todd, business development manager, said that to ensure they got the recipe right, bakery staff had travelled to Poland to source the best ingredients. He added that samplings carried out so far had been extremely well received.
