Members of the Worshipful Company of Bakers have worked with a charity that supports those who have served in the armed forces.

James Freeman, brother of current Master of the Worshipful Company Chris Freeman, and David Hall of The London Baking Co, spent a day last month at the Veterans Aid residential home in east London.

There, they taught five service personnel about making pizza, mince pies and bread.

Veterans Aid provides practical support to ex-servicemen and women who have served in HM armed forces and are homeless, facing homelessness or in crisis.
