French patisserie producer Brioche Pasquier aims to target “the consumer’s growing passion for macarons”.
The challenge, says Brioche Pasquier, is serving in scale without compromising on quality. In response, it has launched a bumper box of 72 frozen macarons to the UK foodservice market, which are “perfect for larger events”.
Paul Thompson, sales manager at Brioche Pasquier, said: “Our boxes of 36 are perfect for smaller establishments, but of course there are many operators catering on a much larger scale for which the bigger box will be very convenient.”
Brioche Pasquier makes all its patisserie products in France, using traditional recipes, classic French methods and no preservatives or artificial flavours.
Six sweet and natural flavours have been added to its macaron range lemon, vanilla, pistachio, coffee, raspberry and chocolate. They have a shelf-life of 18 months from frozen, and defrost in an hour at room temperature or two hours in a refrigerator to deliver a traditional French macaron.
Last month, the company launched Les Brioches Pain au Chocolat.
