Prewett’s scoops new product awards

Gluten-free brand Prewett’s has scooped both winner and highly commended gongs in The Grocer New Product Award 2016.

Prewett's Gorgeously Gluten Free Spicy Dark Chocolate & Ginger Cookies – produced by Northumbrian Fine Foods (NFF) – was announced winning product in the Free From Biscuits category at the event held on Friday (7 October) at the Marriott Grosvenor Square, London.

The award’s panel of expert judges described the Prewett's cookie as “scrummy” with a “strong slap of chocolate”.

In addition, Prewett’s Chocoful biscuit secured the judges’ highly commended award in the same category.

“We are delighted to have won this award,” said NFF business director David Wood. “At the heart of our success has been the commitment of our staff in producing the highest-quality and best-tasting biscuits.”
