Kara, the foodservice brand of the Finsbury Food Group, has launched a new Tulip Muffin range.
Kara has rejuvenated its three existing muffin lines and expanded the range with four new flavours.
Available now, the muffin range is made up of Triple Chocolate; Lemon & White Chocolate; the double-injected Apple, Blackcurrant & Crumble; Caramel Toffee Latte; Strawberries & White Chocolate; Chocolate & Orange; and Blueberry Crumble.
All Tulip Muffins have injected centres and “eye-catching toppings”, according to the company.
Chris Haddy, head of foodservice at Kara, said: “The launch of the muffin range allows Kara to continue to expand upon a well-established bakery range and offer outlets new and exciting flavours enabling them to rejuvenate their menus.”
He added that around 15% of total eating-out visits are in a coffee shop and that this trend was set to gain even more momentum next year, “so the launch comes at a great time”.
The range is nut-free and suitable for vegetarians, and the muffins are produced with consistent quality, size and appearance.
Last month Kara was crowned the cake winner at the 2016 Café Quality Food Awards.
