British Baker is gearing up to reveal the finalists for the Baking Industry Awards 2024.

As in previous years, we’ll be revealing the finalists for each category over the course of a week, with the finalists for the first categories announced on Monday 29 July.

“The quality of entrants for this year’s competition has been outstanding,” said British Baker editor Amy North. “Our esteemed judges have been across the country to undertake site visits, hold in-depth interviews, and taste an incredible array of baked goods in search of the people, products, and businesses worthy of a Baking Industry Award. The entrants haven’t made it easy, and our judges have had to make some very tough decisions.

“We hope you will join us in celebrating our wonderful finalists ahead of the big night.”

The winners will be revealed at a black-tie ceremony on Thursday 24 October at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. The ceremony, hosted by a yet-to-be-revealed celebrity, will also feature a presentation for the Outstanding Contribution to the Baking Industry, sponsored by Délifrance.
