Three new Danish pastries are being added to the Aryzta product range from the middle of next month.
Manufactured in Denmark and frozen at source, the products are supplied pre-proved and unbaked, and can be baked from frozen.
The trio, which are shipped in cases of 48, comprise a Lemon Danish Plait, a Mango & Passion Fruit Danish Crown and a Wild Canadian Blueberry Danish Crown. All are suitable for vegetarians.
“The new Danish pastries offer an authentic, innovative and delicious product – which can increase profitability – and a highly convenient solution,” said Aryzta Food Solutions marketing head Paul Whitely.
“We see these products as a great addition to breakfast services across a number of sectors and sitting neatly alongside a speciality beverage at any time throughout the day.”
Aryzta last month announced it had cuts its forecast earnings and announced plans to slash costs by £175m over the next three years. The business estimated full-year earnings would now be between 9% and 12% lower than earlier guidance.
