Lanark-based manufacturer Border Biscuits has launched the Café Bake snack range for the out-of-home and foodservice sectors.
Developed to add value to in-store and ‘grab and go’ purchases, the range comprises three varieties: 35g Pecan & Maple Syrup Oat Crumbles; 40g Yogurt, Cranberry & Pumpkin Seed Oat Crumbles; and Lemon Drizzle Melts.
Lesley Ann Gray, brand and innovation director at Border Biscuits, said the new range is based on extensive research and understanding of the marketplace.
“It will offer customers a unique and outstanding biscuit experience and draws on our expertise of baking the very best biscuits using quality ingredients, Gray said. “The range will add value to cafés and coffee shops and showcases flavours that we know consumers love.”
A trade advertising campaign featuring the strapline ‘Border Biscuits Boost Business’ will support the new range. The company is also encouraging customers to sign up online for a free trial of the products.
The Café Bake range was launched at the Caffè Culture trade show in Kensington, London this week.
