A new coffee shop and restaurant is attempting to raise funds via Crowdcube.
Deluxe Coffee is hoping to reach its £107,000 goal via the crowd funding site from the sale of a 15% equity stake in the business.
Currently based in Islington, north London, the business hopes to “fill the gap in the market between fast food, coffee shops, restaurants and cafés”.
The £107,000 raised will be used to secure the initial property for the brand in London, premises renovation and modernisation, purchasing equipment, training staff, stock and advertising.
The founder has until 18 November to achieve the money.
The company’s pitch says: “Our plan is to open many Deluxe Coffees in the UK, the first of which will be in the capital, London. The London café bar restaurant will be our flagship and will go towards advertising our intent for Deluxe Coffee.
“Initially, when we expand, we will be looking to open in, but not limited to, Canterbury, Cambridge, Oxford and Manchester... with more to follow.”
