Doughnut Time is celebrating May the fourth, also known as Stars Wars Day, with a limited-edition doughnut inspired by the franchise.
Called ‘A Galaxy Far, Far Away’, the doughnut features a galaxy-like cream glaze topped with star sprinkles, Milky Way Magic Stars, Galaxy Caramel and Milky Way Pieces.
They are on sale in all 12 Doughnut Time’s locations across the capital from today (3 May) and throughout the next week, priced at £4.50 for one or £16 for a four-pack.
May the fourth is an annual celebration of all things Star Wars, starting as a pun based on the line ‘may the force be with you’ and growing to become a full-fledged celebration.
Since arriving in the UK in September 2017, Doughnut Time has gone on to open several stores across London, with two new openings announced this week, as well as a Doughnut Academy.
The brand is well-known for creating pop culture-inspired treats including the Robert De N’Oreo, Snicki Minaj and the vegan Apple Crumble & Fitch.
