Finsbury Food Group has extended its range of licensed cakes with six new characters.
Doctor Who, Pusheen and Paddington Bear are among the new licenses that hit late last month.
“At Finsbury we’re proud of our strong relationships to the licensing sector and always make sure we’re creating the cakes which mirror current trends within the entertainment market,” said Natalie Nairn, brand manager at Finsbury Food Group.
As part of the expanded range, Finsbury has rolled out new formats under its Justice League (superhero film) licence, including a traybake, as well as standard and large cakes, to join the existing gift cake.
“Our new products are also an example of how we’re expanding the character licensed cakes market, by moving into new product types and formats,” she added.
