Grahams Bakery in Northern Ireland has launched a social media campaign to coincide with The Great British Bake Off (GBBO).
The company has compiled five short animated videos to air on social media during the last episodes of this year’s GBBO series to raise awareness of the brand.
The animations each depict “the worst things to happen” while watching GBBO, with the first instalment showing a family becoming irritated with a persistent mobile phone.
The characters are the cartoons used on Grahams’ product packaging, which each have an animated picture representing what the product is.
Tim Graham, sales and marketing manager, said: “The point of our brand is telling our family story. We have a little cartoon illustration of our products, so we have created a little family of cakes and the animation is watching the, watching the Bake Off and a little disaster happens each time. Hopefully people will find them funny and share them.
“Cake should be fun so we want to have a bit of fun with it.”
Watch the first animation below and look out for tonight’s at @GrahamsBakery.
