Free-from bakery Honeybuns is to add three new variants to its vegan cake range next month, bringing the total number to five.
Millionaire’s Slice, Dark Chocolate Brownie and Oaty Raspberry Bar will make their debut at the International Food & Drink Event, at ExCeL next month. The NPD will sit alongside the artisan bakery’s Oaty Coconut Bar and Oaty Coconut Bar with Dark Chocolate snacks.
Millionaire’s Slice, which is replacing the brand’s Squillionaire sweet treat, is made from Honeybuns’ signature polenta and almond shortbread, date-based caramel and a dark chocolate topping and will be available in 64g slices and 1kg traybakes.
The Oaty Raspberry Bar, which has a flapjack texture and contains sultanas, will be sold in 56g slices and 950g traybakes, while the fudge-textured Dark Chocolate Brownie, will be available in 50g slices and 850g traybakes.
Honeybuns first launched its vegan cake range in 2016. The Dorset-based company also has a nine-strong non-vegan gluten-free classic selection of bakery items. Its products are available in John Lewis and Waitrose.
