Welsh capital Cardiff has seen the arrival of its first Italian patisserie and prosecco bar, Nine Yards.
The business, run by Italian pastry chef Piero Cutrupi and Jonathan White, who has more than a decade’s experience in the food industry, works as an Italian patisserie by day, but transforms into a prosecco bar in the evening.
The café bar, inspired by European culture, has a selection of patisserie such as lemon cheesecake, a range of tarts, including apple or strawberry, and Italian specialities such as cannoli.
The deli also serves freshly made dishes with a choice of breads, such as ciabatta and focaccia. Customers can either take away items or eat in the diner/bar.
Nine Yards offers around 30 proseccos and a range of Italian bottled beers and lagers.
