Pieminister is to open two escape rooms within its Nottingham restaurant in early December.
Teams of two to five players will be able to choose between two rooms at the Long Row site.
The first, The Demon Barber, is set in a barber shop in the eerie cobbles of Victorian Fleet Street, in which players find themselves locked-in with just an hour to escape the murderous barber. It’s based around the tale of Sweeney Todd, who worked with a pie maker to dispose of his murder victims.
The second, Germageddon, will see visitors trapped in the control room of a derelict laboratory trying to prevent an apocalyptic chemical outbreak.
Places cost £18 per person but for £25 visitors get a pie and a side each. The website goes live today (Monday 27 November), with bookings open from 4th December.
Pieminister’s Nottingham shop was opened in late 2015 as part of its expansion plans.
